Aims and objective:-

Established in the year 2000, IDEAL PUBLIC SCHOOL Pithoragarh, Generally aims

at the cultural moral and scientific development with technical education and practical

performances of the little ones.

General Rules:

1. Maintenance of discipline and sound behavior in the school is primary duty of

every child.

2. Proper care of school property should be taken by the staff and students.

3. Late comers are not permitted to attend the school. In case of urgency prior

information is must.

4. Duties allotted to the children for school assembly like news, thought, G.K.

Questions, Lectures and articles is required to be fulfilled by every child in a

decent manner.

5. Each student is entitled of to his peace of mind so, in case of any disturbance and

problems a child bears a right to speak openly or privately to the monitors,

House captains, staff or Principal.

6. In case of leave from the school a written application by the student of class 2 nd

onwards along with the parent’s signature.

7. Supervision of all the subjects is conducted class wise every month by the

supervision in charges. On the basis of the notes given in the copies the child

needs to progress and improve.

8. Parents should compulsory attend the parents teachers meeting called by the

school.

9. For any queries suggestions and general talk parents may meet the principal in

the school office at the school timing.

Pre-primary Group:

Pre-primary group consists of classes from play group, Nursery and prep (Only one

year K.G. class after which a child gets promoted to primary group)

Admission:

 For play group admission are conducted throughout the year.

 For Nursery and K.G. group admission are open from Feb. to April for the

following academic year in which registration should be done in the prescribed

form.

Imp-registration and admission forms are available in the school office.

Which are prescribed to be duly filled and signed by the parents before

submission.

Curriculum and Examination:

 Pre Nursery and nursery classes Final examinations are held in the month of

March.

 Prep class Examinations are held in the month of March.

 The result is prepared according to the grading system as prescribed in the

report card. It is declared on the report card day along with the examination

copies to the parents.

Programs and Celebrations:

All the Indians festivals are celebrated in the school to introduce the small kids with

different cultures, the list of which is enclosed.

Prep-nursery & Prep Summer session 8:30 am – 12:35 pm

Prep-nursery & Prep Winter session 9:30 am – 01:35 pm

Primary and Junior Group:

Primary and Junior group consist of the classes from 1 st to 8 th

Class 1 st to 8 th Summer session 8:30 am – 01:40 pm

Class 1 st to 8 th Winter session 9:30 am – 02:40 pm

Secondary and Senior secondary Group:

Class 9 th to 12 th Summer session 8:30 am – 01:40 pm

Class 9 th to 12 th Winter session 9:30 am – 02:40 pm

Admission:

 For classes 1 st to 12 th admissions are conducted in the month of March and April

for the following academic year in which registration should be done in the

prescribed form.

Curriculum and Examination:

Curriculum which aims at the evaluation of the students on the basis of their

throughout the year performances in all the fields of development because we believe

that only examination are not sufficient to judge the quality of a child one should be

provided with much more elaboration.

 The medium of conducting the examination is English.

 The academic session is conducted in two semester.

 1 st semester – April to September

 2 nd semester – October to March

 Each semester contains the two monthly tests and one terminal exam.

 Results are made on calculating the marks obtained in the monthly tests (One of

the two whichever is best) and the marks obtained in the terminal exams. Besides

this the marks of the yearly performance in all the activities held throughout the

year in school, is also added.

 On the completion of the 1 st semester result is shown to the parents and duly

signed by them. Final report card is provided to the parents after 2 nd semester on

the completion of the academic session in March.

 A folder containing answer sheets of the examinations is provided to the parents

at the completion of each semester, so as to compare their wards performance in

all the subjects.

Programs and Celebrations:

House activities talent competitions are organized in the school, the students get

familiar with different cultures. Students should come for these celebration in the

prescribed dress and formate.
